Director Marcus Letts lets us have quite a theatric experience with the movie of a music video for Worldwide. Actually, with the addition of a UFO, it may be more apt to call it Universe-wide… or Galaxy-wide? Who knows.
A happy new year indeed as our favorite ode from EverythingOShauN gets an official music video, once again shot by Xpress aka DJXP (who also produced the song) on his iPhone 12 Pro Max, all in one shot. His smooth direction slides us into an aesthetically-pleasing room groomed with exotic plants and of course, two Queens, sipping and in adoration.
Queen is available off the EP Maybe It’s Nothing, Maybe It’s Everything, which can be streamed/downloaded on all platforms here: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/everythingoshaun/maybe-its-nothing-maybe-its-everything-2
The atmospheric video is accompanied by the release of EverythingOShauN‘s album, “Maybe It’s Nothing, Maybe It’s Everything“, which also features a redux of this song with XP’s signature dynamic breaks. What does this mean? Take a look yourself:
No, not the show, silly – we don’t condone pirating.
The kaleidoscope of a video was directed by duo Fatty Soprano & Shutterr and features dynamic dancers and fashionable features including Toronto’s Azonto King Prempz, Karo Jasper, Michelle Asiamah, and more. Styling was done by CREEPS and watch out for a cameo by their very own Cynthia.
One of Staasia Daniels‘ most popular songs – Peanut Butter – and arguably one of the most representative of her quirky food-loving sensual self, has finally received a much-requested video treatment. Directed and krafted by Ashley Iris Gill (@craftedbyaig), we are thrilled with not just a music video, but a whole mini-sitcom to make up for the long wait. Treat yourself to some raw chicken, crunchy nuts, and The Real Taste of Jamaica and make sure to spread the love after by sharing it with all your friends who eat.
EverythingOShauN is in a Polaroid-perfect montage, riding around the north-side’s suburbs in a vintage vehicle with his stripped-down bride (@purplexolive), as he contemplates the delicate balance between settling down in a relationship and wanting to ball like The Raptors’ point guard Lowry. The imagery in the Fatty Soprano & Shutterr directed video features contrasting elements that effectively tell the dilemma between childhood dreams and adulthood realities: the shirt & tie with the varsity jacket, the purity and tradition of a wedding dress versus the freeing and liberating panties & bra, and essentially the right side up and the upside down; all taking place in an unsettling setting of strange nostalgia mixed with ever-too-real reality. The reflective track’s producer, Xpress aka DJXP, also makes an appearance. Catch more deep waves and feels off EverythingOShauN’s latest album, Everything Over Everything Else.
Our very own Staasia Daniels is empowering women (and men) everywhere – from tennis courts to convenience stores – to leave voicemails and their toxic relationships for a brighter future. Join the new Voicemail program by watching this quick video to start looking good, feeling good, and be all about you you you you! Plus, if you subscribe and follow Staasia Daniels on YouTube and Spotify within the next 5 minutes you will get a free dead weight so you can practice letting it hit the floor at home! Just kidding – but do like, comment, and subscribe for more future content.
EverythingOShauN delivers another thespian visual directed by the ever-cinematic duo Fatty Soprano & Shutterr, this time for the melodramatic Blind off his EP Almost Everything.
In a monochromatic cold and barren world, OShauN and his brother/producer Xpress aka DJXP introspect by seeing more with their eyes closed. As they lose themselves and stumble in reflection, we are fed with flashes of eccentric images and movements that leave us questioning what we really see when our eyes are open.
